| In Getting a Grip on Your
Money, I acknowledge that the best way of making financial progress is
to construct and follow a budget. But I also recognize that many people,
upon being told they must make and follow a budget, will simply give up
and not try to improve their finances.
The book then goes on to explain how you can improve your finances even if you don't end up following a budget. Because of that emphasis, I don't spend a lot more time in the book on budgeting.
